The taste of Vindaloo emerged from the state of Goa along the West Coast of India. At one time, Goa was a Portuguese colony and the food, derived from the Portugeuse carne de vinha d’alhos, reflects those unique and spicy influences.

"We used the Vindaloo the other night on chicken and cauliflower- the flavors were fantastic. We used the spice packet, which was not too spicy but definitely added a special kick. We served it with rice and some chopped cilantro. I love Indian food but when I make it at home, it’s always a simplified version.
